Harrington Picks Up Two More Honors
Bennington, VT - Senior Southern Vermont College forward Nick Harrington was named to the d3hoops.com team of the week. Each week the website selects the top five players who were nominated by their respective schools.
Harrington was chosen due to his dominating performance at the Association of Division III Independents. Harrington crossed the 1,500-point and 1,000-rebound thresholds in same game versus Newbury. On the week, he averaged 29 points and 17.5 rebounds. Harrington made 20 of 34 field goals and 18 of 26 free throws.
The East Coast Athletic Conference has named Harrington for the third time in four weeks as the best player in the New England region.
It was the first honor bestowed upon Harrington from D3hoops.com. He has been named the A3DI Players of the Week seven times and the ECAC Player of the Week on five occasions. In addition, he has been named the A3DI male student-athlete of the month for both December and January.
