ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) announced on Monday its 2017 men’s volleyball major award winners and all-conference squads with Southern Vermont College sophomore Adrian Dickerson (Bristol, Vt.) getting honored with a spot on the All-sportsmanship Team.

Dickerson, a rookie in collegiate volleyball, appeared in all 28 of Southern Vermont’s matches this year and saw action in 84 of the team’s 90 sets played. His season-high in the kills column came in the final regular season contest of the year when he chalked up six against Lesley University. His best defensive showing was on March 22 against Newbury College when the sophomore totaled 11 digs and three block assists; he also had a season-high three service aces in that tilt with the Nighthawks.

Coaches from around the NECC nominate their players for the league's major awards and all-Conference teams, and they then vote for each of the top accolades before the start of the postseason tournament.
