Mountaineers Fall Short Against Saxons
March 8, 2010 COCOA, Fla. The Southern Vermont College softball team fell to the Alfred University Saxons of Alfred, N.Y. 8-0 Monday, March 8, at Chain of Lakes Park. Sophomore Gabrielle Remillard pitched well for the Mountaineers striking out three, and sophomore outfielder Kayla Whitman went 1-for-2.
Mountaineers Softball Sets Out On First Spring Trip To Florida
March 7, 2010 COCOA, Fla. The Southern Vermont College softball team is kicking off the 2010 season in style as it is slated to play five games in beautiful Cocoa, Florida at the Cocoa Expo on the Chain of Lakes fields March 8-11. Whitman Makes NECC First-Team All-Conference
May 5, 2009 ATTLEBORO, Mass. Eight of the nine sponsored programs were represented on 2009 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Softball All-Conference Team, it was announced today by Commissioner Del Malloy. In addition to the All-NECC honors, four separate major individual award winners and the team sportsmanship award were also voted upon and selected this week.
Southern Vermont Drops NECC Doubleheader To Bay Path
April 19, 2009 BENNINGTON, Vt. - The Southern Vermont College softball team hosted NECC foe Bay Path College Sunday losing by games 21-3 and 20-3. Freshman Kayla Whitman (Bennington, Vt.) led SVC going 4-for-6 with four RBI including three home runs, a triple, and she stole home in the fifth inning of game two. |
