Eagles Shutdown Mountaineers

NASHUA, N.H. - The Southern Vermont women's soccer team was outshot 31-1 in a 6-0 shutout against conference opponent Daniel Webster Saturday. The loss sends the Mountaineers to a 0-6 record so far this season.
The lone shot came from freshman Daryl Aubin (Forestdale, RI/North Smithfield HS) who could not get it past the hands of Eagles goalkeeper Amy Waller, who had one save on the day.
Mountaineer goalkeeper Jillian Neudecker (Johnsonville, N.Y./Tamarac HS) had 15 saves, which is what she averaging per game, and leads the conference with 60 saves this year.
The duo of Eagles Rachel Schelhorn and Erin Hurd combined for four goals and three assists as the Daniel Webster College women's soccer team rushed past Southern Vermont College.
The Mountaineers take on Lyndon State College on the road Wednesday, September 24. Kickoff is at 4:00 p.m.
