Recruiting Will Be Key To Success For SVC Volleyball Program

BENNINGTON, Vt. - Building from the ground up is nothing new for the Southern Vermont College volleyball program, but this time around, a West Coast approach could possibly do the trick.

Stokes Named Volleyball Coach

BENNINGTON, Vt. – The Southern Vermont College Athletics Department appointed Joshua Stokes as the new head volleyball coach during the summer. Stokes was most recently the assistant women’s volleyball coach at State University of New York at Potsdam. His duties at Southern Vermont include coaching both the women’s program that plays in the fall and the men’s that runs in the spring.

The 2009 NECC All-Conference Women’s Volleyball Team Announced

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Seven of the eight sponsored programs were represented on 2009 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Team, it was announced today by Commissioner Del Malloy. In addition to the All-NECC honors, four separate major individual award winners and the team sportsmanship award were also voted upon and selected this week.

Lesley Sweeps Elms And Southern Vermont In Women’s Volleyball

BENNINGTON, Vt. – The Southern Vermont College women’s volleyball paid tribute to its seniors: Laura Sullivan, Kayleigh Moretto, Bethany Stolz, and Danielle Hume as the Mountaineers suited up for their last home games in their collegiate careers. Lesley swept the tri-match beating Elms 3-1 and SVC 3-0.
