2009 Mountaineer Invitational

What: Coaches, you and your teams are cordially invited to run in the Mountaineers Cross Country Invitational on the scenic SVC Campus, which will take place as the first of our homecoming events that day. Please complete the form below and send or email it to Joe Catania.

When: Saturday, September 26, 2009

Where: Southern Vermont College, 982 Mansion Drive, Bennington, Vt. 05201

Times: Women-10:00 AM Men-10:45 AM, Awards-11:45

Course: Women- 5K, Men- 8K. Course will start on the lawn in front of the Mansion and wind down the hill towards the field house, then wind back up traversing grassy and gravel and dirt trails. The course will be well marked with double white lines, directional flags arrows etc. spotters will help with direction finding. Spikes are recommended on the course. If you arrive on Friday and would like a course map let me know.

Parking: Park in the Mansion parking lot. Follow Mansion Drive until it ends.

Awards: Plaques to the top two men and the top two women's teams. T-shirts will be awarded to the top 15 Place finishers in each race.

Entries: Unlimited Entries. Just send your typed roster. Please Fax entries: 802.447.4652 or email: jcatnia@svc.edu by Wednesday, September 23, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. The entry fee is $100, or $50 per team. Check payable to SVC Athletics.

Locker rooms: There are lockers and showers available in the field house.

Athletic Trainer: A certified Athletic Trainer will be available on site at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the race. Water, ice and cups will be provided. Call Mark Sutherlin @ 802-447-4650 if you have any questions or concerns.

Results: Hy-Tek meet results will be available on our website @ www.svcathletics.com
