SVC Alumni Harrier Dan Dix Named to GNAC Hall of Fame August 17, 2010
BOSTON, Mass. Southern Vermont College alumnus Dan Dix, class of 2002, was inducted into the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Hall of Fame Thursday, August 12, at the inaugural induction ceremony, for his remarkable accomplishments on the mens cross country team. Dix, who is a three-time GNAC Cross Country Champion (1999-2001), has a long list of accolades and is still running at a competitive level.

CHICOPEE, Mass. - Lesley University men's runner Fran Cusick and women's runner Noa Kupfer earned top individual honors, as the Lynx finished first in both the men's 8-kilometer and women's 5-kilometer races in Saturday morning's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Championships at Chicopee State Park.

POULTNEY, Vt. The Hudson Valley CC mens cross-country team swept the honors in the mens 8K while the Albany College of Pharmacy women's cross-country team narrowly edged Green Mountain College to win the 3rd Annual GMC Invitational Saturday morning. The Southern Vermont College mens team placed fourth while the womens team only saw four cross the finish line.

NEWBURGH, N.Y. The Southern Vermont mens and womens cross country teams ran at the Mount Saint Mary College Blue Knight Invitational on Saturday placing 15 of 15 in the womens race and 16 of 19 in the mens at Chadwick Lake Park.
