WORCESTER, Mass. – Southern Vermont College dropped a non-conference women's soccer road match Tuesday night as the Mountaineers fell 6-0 to Clark University at Granger Field.

The hosting Cougars put in four goals during the opening 45 minutes of action, and they extended their lead by two more in the second stanza for their second win of the season.

The Mountaineers (0-2-1) next host Mount Holyoke College on Saturday for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Manchester's Applejack Stadium.

SVC junior Taylor Jarosz (Troy, N.Y.) made her collegiate debut in net—making 17 saves in more than 61 minutes of game time. Classmate Danielle Biggers (Broadalbin, N.Y.) split Jarosz's two stints in goal with 28 minutes of action, and she turned away six CU shots during that time as the Mountaineer keeper.
